Using a higher angle I thought that it made Becca look a bit vulnerable and that she lacks status. This is not what I want to go for in my magazine as I want Sara to look as if she is powerful and influential. I liked the high contrast/black and white as I think it looks really classy - this is the look I want to go for for my magazine.
This photo was taken from a low angle. I prefered this to the higher angle shot as it makes the model look powerful. It creates the image of the model being high up and content with where they are in life. It also shows more of the models outfit yet in less detail. The only problem with this angle is that I am using a white background which doesnt include steps so I will have to think of a way round it. This photo also doesnt use a plain white background which I think takes away some of the attention from the model - this re-enforces my decision of using a white background.
Despite me not taking this picture, (as it's of me) I thought that the models face not being visible could be an effective one to use in either my double page spread or contents page. I think that this could look quite fashionable as it shows the outfit and hair off, and as Sara has long hair with a purple tint (matches my colour scheme) I think this could look really effective.
I found that by doing tester shots I have a better idea on which poses I want Sara to do and which angles I will shoot her from. I also like the high contrast images as I think it looks more professional, so I will keep that in mind whilst editing my photos.
